General information
Scientists say that there is more biomass in the Temperate Rainforest than in any other biome in the world. About 55% of the Temperate rainforest has been destroyed making this biome even more rare. They are more endangered than the Tropical Rainforests. In fact, these rainforests used to be on every continent in the world, but today only 50% of these forests remain worldwide. it is called the temperate rainforest because the temperatures are mild, in other words they are "temperate"
